It's bad enough that more than 600 people are being held at Guantanamo Bay without access to legal advocates or other kinds of support that ought to be basic to human rights. The Human Rights Watch is now reporting about -- and advocating on behalf of -- at least three children (ages 13-15) who are among those being held. A short press release is available at CommonDreams. Consider adding your voice -- and that of your congregation, family, friends -- on behalf of all of the detainees.

Letter to Secretary Rumsfeld on Child Detainees at Guantanamo
