Argh...

Well, I'm very glad this week is over. My uncle, Gavin Gray, died abruptly of an aneurysm this past week. He expressly asked (in previous times) NOT to have a funeral, so our family (which is scattered all over the states) is finding it difficult to grieve. I think we may do something like a memorial in the future at some point, but it is weird and eerie going through this kind of loss but not being able to connect with people who share a relationship with the person who has died. I want to go on record, right here and now, that I do NOT want to have machines sustain my life once it is over, and that I DO want people to come together and rejoice in my life and their relationship with me. Enough said.

I believe that I knew your Uncle Gavin. We spent time at Brant Lake as kids and our families did a lot of things together. I agree with you that we help one another get through tough times. Enjoy your day.
