It's hard to imagine not paying attention to energy policy (we're in a war right now that ought to make us deeply concerned about it!), but for those of you who haven't had the space or time to think about it before, now would be a good time to start. And Adam Werbach's essay in In These Times might be a good place to begin. It's entitled "Liquidation of the commons," and is a scathing indictment of the Bush administration's rhetoric about environmental issues (and the energy policies that underlie them).
