Best advent sermon I've heard/read

I'm so psyched that Mary Hinkle is maintaining a weblog. And even more psyched now that she's posted this sermon. I'm not a homiletics professor, so my judgment probably doesn't count for much, but as a layperson who hears lots and lots of sermons -- this is one of the best Advent sermons I've heard/read in a long time.

Mary, you may or may not remember my emailing you last year, while I was casting the net far and wide for submissions to a book of sermons using the songs of U2. But anyway, the book has happened. And (though Mary Hinkle's sermon is fabulous and I think it will be a long time before I get the image of John presiding at a seeker service out of my head), since it's not one of mine, I'd like to nominate a piece by my co-editor as another excellent Advent sermon. No one even has to buy the U2 book to read it, since it's on explorefaith this month.
