Karen Kwiatkowski has a very disturbing essay in Salon.com this week. She is a retired lt. col. in the Air Force, and writes about her time serving in the Near East South Asia directorate. I suppose the reason more people aren't taking to the streets over Bush's malfeasance is that we would have to admit that he has lied to the whole country and sent people to die on the basis of those lies. Sigh. Mark Fiore has an interesting visual commentary that gives out the Bush Awards (rather than the Academy Awards). Can we only laugh about it? Or will we really get busy and vote Bush out of office?
