An academic's view of exit polls
One of the
dailyKos diaries posts links to
Dr. Steven Freeman's analysis of the exit polls from this election.
Dr. Freeman is currently a visiting scholar at the
University of Pennsylvania, and received his PHD from MIT. Those are substantial credentials. He is not alleging election fraud, but simply pointing out -- in a compelling way -- that there are many unanswered questions that we ought to be investigating. I think his analysis adds further urgency to
Lawrence Lessig's call to "free the exit polling data" and allow public investigation of its conclusions. Now might be a good time to contact your
elected officials and add your voice to this issue.
