Keeping up on the news

One of the more useful things that the Democracy for America blog is doing, is keeping a running tab of important news items. This week they note issues around social security and identify in terse and useful terms the problems with what the Bush Administration is doing. I recommend adding DFA to your newsreader.

Another good piece of news from that blog: Dean has decided to throw his hat in the ring for the DNC chairmanship. He'd be a great person for this, for really changing the party and energizing new candidates and grassroots organizing. His letter explaining why he's running is compelling in itself.
