Emily and Don Saliers

I just stumbled across a radio interview with Emily Saliers and Don Saliers about their book, "A Song to Sing, A Life to Live." I remember when I first heard them talking about it, two years ago at the AAR/SBL meeting -- it was a transcendent experience for me! It's fun to "check back in with them" in this small way. oh this is sooooo COOL! That workshop must have been great, too. We (Tina, her sister Tracy, and I) are performing "Secure Yourself" as part of our set at a local coffeehouse this weekend, speaking of the Indigo Girls.
PEACE

It's a great book--got it at St. Martin's Table. It does a wonderful job of exploring music as deep expression of LIFE--whether in a liturgical context or otherwise!
