St. Patrick's Four

I have only just now heard about this case, but apparently a group of people who did a nonviolent act of civil disobedience prior to the start of the Iraq War, the St. Patricks' Four -- and who were originally acquitted via hung jury in their first trial -- are now being brought up on federal charges that carry a huge penalty. There is a letter up on the web that you can sign to support them, and more information available there. I suspect that their acts now will appear to far more people to be courageous, and so the further we can spread the word, the better. Posted by hessma at August 22, 2005 04:03 PM
