Richard Wallace dies

Today I am in deep mourning. A close friend and colleague of mine, a wonderful scholar and deep-hearted and compassionate man, Richard Wallace, has died. I suspect I'm going to spend today, the last day of our First Week, in tears most of the day. Please keep his family -- especially his wife Beverly -- in your prayers.
