Into the New Testament

One of the best resources I've ever come across for helping people (from high school on up) to learn how to do solid, exegetical biblical study is Mary Hinkle Shore's Into the New Testament. And yes, in the interest of full disclosure, she's a colleague and friend of mine from Luther Seminary. But that does not in any way detract from my opinion of her website!

It's friendly, authoritative without being authoritarian, humorous (in a gentle and disarming way), and chock-full of very useful information. I love how she explains what translations are about, how to use synopses and concordances,

Along the way you can also pick up useful introductions to problem-based learning, rubric-based assessment, and the understanding by design process.

She also has a ton of useful vocabulary pages, and rich connections out to resources outside of the site itself, like Yale's Bibleworks software help, zhubert.com (online Greek tools and Hebrew tools), and her own Pauline timeline.
